We fell in love at 14, and had almost killed each other by the time we were 20 and had split up for the final time. It's one thing to hit rock bottom at some point along the road. It's possible anyone who truly lives finds a way to crash. But I was indeed lucky that we crashed together, and because of that, I think we carry a piece of each other around.
